The first step in activating Windows 10 with CMD is to open the Command Prompt. To do this, head over to the start menu and search for “cmd”. Once you find it, right-click on it and select “Run as administrator”. This will ensure that your commands have enough permissions to take effect.
Once you have the Command Prompt open, type in “slmgr /ipk your-product-key” without quotation marks. Make sure to replace “your-product-key” with the actual product key of your Windows 10 copy. This will activate your copy of Windows 10 using the provided product key.
